Install Accessican

For a new installation. No earlier version is needed. This form saves the database configuration and creates your administrator account.

You must first create an empty MySQL database and a database user in cPanel, then add that user to the database with all privileges. Copy their complete names, including the cPanel prefix.

Hosting checks

1. Protect your installation

This protects setup from another visitor claiming your site. It is separate from your database and administrator passwords. If needed, read the code using cPanel File Manager Edit on accessican-setup-code.php; opening that file in a browser deliberately shows nothing.

2. Database connection
3. Your Accessican administrator
4. Website and business details

Include a subdirectory if used. Confirm this is your intended Accessican address.

Confirm business details and published policies before launch.

Advanced: private application location

The installer fills this automatically for standard cPanel hosting and places private files here. It must be outside all website roots. If your account uses a custom layout, confirm this path with your host.
